The 55th edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan is opening today. Until Sunday, Milan will be the core of the international attention in the furniture design and manufacture sector, ranging from the living area to the bedroom, from the bathroom to the kitchen.

All and every stylistic variation is there to be seen and as a significant news of this year edition, an entire hall is dedicated to luxury interiors.

xLux, strategically located between Hall 1 and Hall 5, created with the intent of giving light to companies that have been able merge two realities, classic and design, thus creating furniture with a high formal research and characterized by precious details and finishes.

Huge is the level of interest for such a precious Made in Italy and Il Salone del Mobile 2016 may give an answer not only by reserving an exhibition space to this KnowHow which is tipically Italian, but offering this together with the event named "Before Design: Classic. Tradition of the Future" and a short movie made by one of the most renowned Italian film directors, Matteo Garrone.

Simone Ciarmoli, head of the events, refers to it as “an interesting challenge", trying to gather "the various possibilities of together being up-to-date and enjoyed in the everyday living".
