10/10/2013 - NEW MITERED WOODEN DOORS

At Eurocucina 2012 many companies presented new kitchen models with mitered doors.

.

The “miter cut” is a constructional technique allowing to join the frame’s rails and stiles at a 45 degrees angle, rather than the common butt joint.

.

It is possible to make solid wood doors and veneered MDF doors with this method. Precision in the cutting and assembly phase as well as the assembly’s solidity are of primary importance: if these two conditions are not guaranteed, the door will have unacceptable flaws on the front. The frame’s section can be moulded in many ways, offering a wide range of aesthetical possibilities.

.

The door, conceived as a painting, can therefore be simple and minimal suitable for modern interiors

.

.

or with a more elaborate profile able to suit and enhance interiors having a vintage, antique charm.

.

.

The Salone del Mobile saw the introduction of many High Classic models with lacquered and golden decorations, with the great approval of Russian visitors.

.

Always up-to-date with today’s trends, our Development Centre and Technical Office have been working since the beginning of 2012 to offer to our clients doors made with this constructional technique. In the PRODUCTS section of our website you can look at our new models.
